Setup overview
Understand the recommended order for configuring an Edmissa workspace.
Configure Edmissa in an order that supports the student recruitment workflow.
Use a two pass setup. First create the basic workflow so the team can see the shape of the system. Then add the rules, forms, documents, checklists, and notifications that make each step work correctly.
Recommended setup order
| Order | Step | Success check |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Review the shared settings your team will reuse. | You know which settings apply to every team and market. |
| 2 | Confirm country and region variations. | You know which settings change by operating market, branch, or destination. |
| 3 | Set agency profile, regional settings, and locations. | The workspace name, time zone, location basics, and agency details are correct. |
| 4 | Add users, roles, permissions and scope, and locations. | Each user has the right role, scope, and location. |
| 5 | Configure number formatting, Lead Sources, and integrations. | New records have readable numbers, and Leads can be tracked back to the right source. |
| 6 | Create the basic application pipelines and stage names. | The team can see the main application journey in the right order. |
| 7 | Configure fields, document types, form templates, and checklists. | The information, files, forms, and task lists needed by each stage are ready. |
| 8 | Return to pipeline stages and Pipeline form management to add requirements, approvals, access, movement controls, notifications, and stage form rules. | Each stage has the rules and forms needed for live work. |
| 9 | Configure notifications, automation, and SLA and Business Hours. | The right roles are notified at the right moments, and managers can review overdue work. |
| 10 | Review reports and audit settings. | Managers can review activity without changing the workflow. |
This order keeps downstream records consistent before the team starts daily work.
