Repeating Fields
Use Repeating Fields when users need to add several entries of the same kind.
Repeating Fields let users add multiple entries under one field. They are best for history-style information where each student may have a different number of entries.
Field Types In This Category
| Field type | Best for |
|---|---|
| Work History | Multiple jobs or work experiences. |
| Education | Multiple schools, degrees, or academic history rows. |
When To Use Repeating Fields
Use this category when the same structure can repeat. For example, one student may have one education entry and another may have four.
Repeating Fields are cleaner than creating fixed fields such as School 1, School 2, and School 3.
Configuration Notes
Repeating Fields can define minimum entries, maximum entries, add and remove labels, empty state text, item labels, and whether entries can be reordered or collapsed.
